- Profhilo is a treatment with a high concentration of ultrapure hyaluronic acid without chemical additives. This does mean that the duration of the effect of hydration is somewhat shorter and the degree of collagen stimulation is less. In addition, the injection technique is simpler compared to Restylane skin boosters. With Profhilo, the hyaluronic acid is injected at 10 specific points on the face (neck or decollete) it distributes itself in the skin after injection. This product is particularly suitable for people looking for a treatment for hydration from within without chemical additives. It is also a popular treatment for people under the age of 30. Course of skin booster treatment
Our skin booster treatments proceed in the following steps:
During an initial consultation, we discuss your needs and analyze your skin to determine if a skin booster treatment is appropriate. The doctor will create a customized treatment plan and set an exact price for your personal skin improvement plan.
The skin is prepared and cleansed. We then insert small amounts of hyaluronic acid through several small punctures with a fine needle or cannula over the treatment area.
The doctor clearly discusses all aftercare instructions. You will also receive these by mail after the appointment. You do not have to stay out of the sun. However, it is important to protect your face with an SPF50 when you go out in the sun.
There may be slight redness or swelling or a blue spot that will disappear within a few days. Blue spots may be camouflaged with makeup.
There is no need to avoid physical exertion or connective tissue massages. Exercise is allowed. In case of swelling it is advised to wait with sauna until the swelling has gone down.
