How does the Blemiderm treatment work?
Mesoestetic's Blemiderm treatment is a medical peeling treatment specifically designed for all forms of active and residual acne. Blemiderm is distinguished from other acne treatments by its patented unique formula, consisting of a special combination of three powerful ingredients: salicylic acid (anti-inflammatory and sebum-regulating), lactic acid (hydrating and exfoliating) and shikiminic acid (antibacterial and antioxidant).
What makes Blemiderm unique is the combination of direct action on impurities and stimulation of cell renewal, as well as inhibition of all the different factors in the skin that can play a role in acne. Think of excessive sebum production, inflammation and an imbalance of bacteria on the skin. All this is done without excessively irritating the skin. Scientific studies show that this treatment:
Normalizes sebum production and prevents and reduces cornification of the skin
The 5α-reductase hormone pathway regulates, reducing hormonal fluctuations to increase sebum production and clog pores
Active inflammation and irritation in the skin reduces by rebalancing the bacteria on the skin and reducing inflammatory substances created by lifestyle and environment.

Blermiderm before and after results
After a Blemiderm treatment, the skin often experiences a smoother feel and fewer blemishes after just a few days. Pores refine and redness is reduced. For lasting results, we at DokterEs recommend offering the treatment course in conjunction with the complete proper skin care routine. Active acne reduction in the face
At DokterEs , we offer the Blemiderm treatment in a unique way. With us, you receive not only the specific Blemiderm home treatment, but also all other necessary skin care products as one package along with the treatments. We would like to show you what a Blemiderm treatment at DokterEs looks like:
- Blemiderm treatment regimen : the after the initial consultation, we apply 3 Blemiderm treatments at intervals of 2 to 4 weeks. During each treatment, the skin is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. Then we apply the Blemiderm peeling over the entire face. We let it take effect for a few minutes. After this we apply the Dermamelan peeling mask. This is a mask with a somewhat thicker cream gel structure. Depending on your skin type, condition and tolerance, we leave the mask on for a few to 10 minutes. It is removed with wet gauze. We conclude the treatment with a very strong restorative, hydrating, and cooling mask, nourishing cream and of course sun protection, which immediately soothes the skin.
- Blemiderm home course: after the treatment, you will receive all necessary skin care products from Mesoestetic to continue the treatment at home as effectively as possible, minimizing skin reactions and preventing a longer downtime. This includes, besides the cleanser and anti-acne cream, also the soothing toner, restorative mask, calming and anti-inflammatory serum and of course the sun protection with SPF50 especially for (acne) sensitive skin. These products ensure that the results of the treatment are optimized, as well as that we maintain them after the last treatment.

Course of the Blemiderm treatment
Our laser treatments proceed in the following steps:
During the intake, the skin therapist analyzes your skin condition and Your wishes are discussed. A careful analysis is done to determine if your skin condition is suitable for the Blemidermtreatment and the process will be fully explained to you. The proper application of related home products is also considered together.
In most cases, the first Blemiderm treatment can be started immediately. For sensitive, young or severely dehydrated skins, we sometimes first build up with a milder peel in preparation, 2 weeks before the first Blemiderm treatment.
The Blemiderm treatment regimen consists of a thorough cleansing, the Blemiderm peel and the Blemiderm peeling mask. Then we soothe the skin with the special Crystal Fiber mask and finish with restorative cream and SPF. Already from the first treatment the effect starts and acne lesions will diminish within a few days.
You then start using home products, using only the soothing, restorative products for the first few days. After a few days you additionally start the Blemiderm treatment, a night cream for 1 to a few nights a week that reinforces and supports the effect of the treatment.
The course consists of a minimum of 3 treatments. In most cases, 1 Blemiderm course is sufficient for the desired result and a few maintenance sessions per year with mild peels in combination with home care offer sufficient prevention of acne recurrence. In some cases a second Blemiderm treatment is required.
Aftercare is crucial for good results. The home skin care protocol with the skin care routine created by DokterEs specifically for Blemiderm is a big part of the treatment. You will receive a personalized aftercare package and instructions from the first treatment. The course consists of:
- Comprehensive skin analysis with our 3D scan during the consultation.
