Course of treatments.
Curious about how a treatment at DokterEs goes? Here are the four steps we often go through toward optimal results.
At DokterEs , you are welcome for a calm, honest, no-obligation consultation. We will discuss your wishes, options and go through a medical questionnaire to assess whether injectables can be safely applied. If necessary, you can bring a photo from 10 years ago, so we can see where aging is specifically visible on you. Together we look in the mirror at skin condition, facial expression, volume and proportions. You will receive a personal treatment plan with a transparent cost overview and explanation of the expected result and duration of the effect.
We take all the time we need for precision and quality. If desired, the treatment can take place right after the consultation or we will schedule a separate appointment. Beforehand, you sign a treatment agreement describing method and risks. We also take photographs for medical records, solely for the purpose of comparing results later.
Treatment takes place in a comfortable treatment chair using safe A-brand products (such as Restylane and Azzalure). If desired, a numbing cream is used beforehand. Treatment takes an average of 15 minutes (botox) to a maximum of 60 minutes (fillers), with attention to quality, precision and minimizing bruising.
You will be given practical advice for the hours and days following. We always schedule a checkup appointment 2 to 4 weeks later to evaluate the results together. During the check-up we discuss your experience, look at the before and after photos and answer any questions you may have. In between, we are always available by phone, email or WhatsApp: you have direct contact with your treating physician.

Our treatments are performed with fine needles and often with numbing creams or injectables containing lidocaine, so discomfort is minimal. Many clients experience at most a slight sting or some pressure. We always take the time to make you feel comfortable.
Botox works for an average of 3 to 4 months; after that, the effect gradually diminishes. Fillers typically last 6 to 12 months, depending on the area and type of filler. For long-term results, we recommend regular maintenance treatments.
