One clinic advertises Botox starting at €59, while another charges €250. In this article, we’ll explain how prices are structured so you can make a fair comparison of Botox prices.
How is the price of Botox determined?
Almost every practitioner charges a price per zone for Botox. A zone is an area of the face that can be treated with botulinum toxin. For example, the forehead, the lips, or crow’s feet. In addition to the face, it’s also possible to have your armpits (excessive sweating) or other physical conditions treated.
How much you pay for the treatment depends on a number of factors:
- Number of treatment areas: the more areas you have treated, the higher the cost. However, you’ll often receive a more favorable total rate when treating multiple areas.
- The products used: recognized premium brands such as Azzalure, Relfydess, or Azzuliance are more expensive to purchase than lesser-known alternatives.
- Practitioner’s experience: A doctor with years of experience and BIG registration works with greater precision and safety than a less experienced practitioner.
Note: Cosmetic treatments (wrinkles) may sometimes be priced differently than medical treatments such as teeth grinding, migraines, or excessive sweating.
